Am I a LASIK Candidate?

The only way to be sure that you qualify for laser eye surgery in the state of New York is to visit a local doctor and have an eye examination. However, there are a few general requirements for LASIK candidates:

• All LASIK Candidates in New York must be at least 18 years of age
• You must have one year without eye injuries or infections
• No corneal scars
• You must be nearsighted or farsighted
• Understand the risks involved with LASIK surgery
• Not currently pregnant or nursing
